Whole Food Nutrition
Whole Food nutrition is the best way to get optimal utilization from your supplements. Your body was designed to work from foods. If you are taking synthetic supplements, your body does not recognize these. Therefore, the money you spend on these is going down the drain.
Flu Season Home Remedies?!?
Greetings everyone!
With flu season hitting it’s peak, I am sure many of you are looking for ways to be safe and healthy! First off, the main goal when dealing with the flu should be having a strong, healthy immune system. A healthy immune system comes about as a result of having a fullt functioning nervous system. The chiropractors here in Peoria at the Durbin Wellness Center (soon to be Synergy Healthcare-Physical Medicine!) aim to give your immune system a boost with a spinal adjustment. There is one thing I am certain about, and that is I will do whatever I can to avoid getting sick. Not only do spinal adjustments help boost the immune system and keep the spine aligned, but it is a natural approach to fighting the flu. Chiropractic is the way to go!
If some people have the flu already, what are some tricks or tips you like to use for a quick fix?! Chicken noodle soup with extra black pepper works well for me, but what is your secret that everyone should know about?

David Katz, director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center, says doing something – no matter how small – is infinitely better than doing nothing. He also says there are at least 2400 ways to sneak healthy activities into daily living. Katz says, ” If you let yourself make small changes, they will add up to meaningful changes in the quality of your diet, your physical activity pattern, your capacity to deal with stress, and in your sleep quality — and those 4 things compromise an enormously powerful health promotion that can change your life.”
